I found everything in place for a peaceful and comfortable stay. I had stayed at Saraswati Homestay earlier in June and chose to return, which itself reflects my experience. The peaceful surroundings and homely atmosphere continue to make it a pleasant place to stay. My experience this time was just as good, and my earlier positive impression of the property still holds.
Nothing in particular worth mentioning. My stay was comfortable and satisfactory overall.

Simplicity, peace and the homely feel. I initially booked Saraswati Homestay for 10 days, but later extended my stay to almost a full month, which itself says a lot. It is a simple, quiet and comfortable place with beautiful surroundings and mountain views. The host family was helpful and approachable throughout. It is not a luxury hotel, but for someone looking for a peaceful local stay near Palampur i.e. Nagri. it feels genuine and relaxing.
The only practical limitation was that there was no dedicated power backup in the guest unit during my stay. However, the host family had backup at their residence and kindly allowed charging of phones and gadgets there. A dedicated backup for the guest area would make longer stays even more comfortable.
