You must pay on arrival. We're foreigners from outside Chile so we had to figure out how to transfer the money. The host waited 2 days for us to wire that to him.
Also, for an emergency, we had to stay one additional day, he resolved that for us too.
Very uncommon to find Host that trust you that much and also their wiliness to help

Location was perfect
Hot water in the kitchen didn't work, and in the bathroom it took a long time to get hot. Toilet was clogged a few times and I had to pay the doorman to fix it.
