Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City

Good location. New hotel. Front desk Deb was a delight. Hostess at restaurant was sweet. Sunday morning breakfast was better than Saturday night dinner.

Saturday evening dinner staff and manager. We were a party of 6. My daughter order a dirty martini. It was Watered down. Took 45 minutes to chase down olives . She waited an hour to get her meal while the rest of us were finished and waited. I Hunted down manager. Reported issue. I tried to order fish and chips. The kitchen was out of fish. Seriously, it is a Saturday night and a sold out hotel. The kitchen manager needs to go. Importance to details and planning is imperative! Why couldn’t supplies be ordered ahead of time for preparation of a busy weekend. I requested her meal and drink to be taken off bill. It was. Outside pool needs major scrubbing on all inside walls. The sides where people had been up against the wall was nasty with scum. Pool needed to be skimmed for bugs. They are in need of housekeeping even on weekends. The outside pool tables needed to be wiped down. The lobby needed to be vacuumed, the elevator buttons needed to wiped down. It is a beautiful hotel just needs good management over all!

The property was clean, the pools were amazing. The ropes course on the indoor pool and the water slide outdoor were big hits for my kids. The free paint and sip party was fun and it was nice that there was an arcade on site. We appreciated the yard games as well.

The food was expensive and breakfast was not included in my stay despite the room being over $300/night

I was wowed when I walked in. The beach aesthetic was so bright and inviting. I was immediately welcomed by there front desk staff. I felt like I entered into a whole experience.

I took my daughter to the pool and it was mostly adults drinking and their language was loud and inappropriate. It would be nice if there was a little more separation from the adults and the kids.

It was absolutely beautiful
