Nikis House

Great place! You have your own fenced yard which is great if you have a dog that you want to take with you. You also have a parking spot in the yard, so you don't have to look around. The house is fully kitted out, except for an oven (there's a microwave one) but we mostly ate outside, we had just one barbecue at home one of the nights. There are a lot of utensils, dishes, pans, etc. you also get a laundry machine, although we didn't use it as we stayed for 4 nights only. There's an AC unit in both rooms and the house is pretty well insulated, so you hear almost nothing from outside. The location is great - you are close to most of the great restaurants, shops, etc. and the beach is like 500meters away - we went there by car as we didn't have to worry about "losing our parking spot" and we could go to a different beach every day - some closer, some further away. We even got a friendly neighbour across the street - an old greek man, who brought us a few cucumbers as a gift one morning - they were really tasty!

Water pressure is low, but that's a problem in the entire village I think. One of the nights our friends in that stayed in an apartment didn't have water - we still did, but it was almost unusable. There are a lot of mosquitos everywhere, so make sure that you bring repellents and spirals/coils. The yard was great, but it could have been better - there were a lot of weeds and the door (to enter/leave the yard) was a bit flimsy - it is like 10cms up from the ground, so if you have a small dog it can easily pass under it and go outside. Ours was large enough, and couldn't fit.

I booked this place for my parents and their friends. They all enjoyed it, and had an excellent stay. Cleanness was their biggest concern however they were quite satisfied. Host was very kind and answering us fastl. Locals are very kind and helpful too. At the arrival they couldn't find the place and we got immidiate help from a local and our host. They'll visit again for sure :) Absolutely recommended!
