This apartment has unique character. Five of us arrived after dark, on motorcycles, chilled to the bone and were greeted with a very toasty warm, inviting apartment. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms! AND, 1 of us is 6'3" and the showerhead was high enough for him to shower under! The whole apartment was exceptionally clean!! We enjoyed the whole weekend together. Instead of saying "what time will we meet tomorrow?" we could just wander out of our comfy rooms to coffee and make plans together.
Tina's Katalina, a quick walk down the block, was a great treat for breakfast!
Many great memories were made!

Really cool historic building, wide open space with plenty of room if you have larger groups of people staying together. Great location right next to trail and minutes from Houghton/Hancock. Plenty of parking if you’re trailering and food/drink/gas/laundry within (eyesight) walking distance.
No complaints so I had to think real hard on something I didn’t like and all I came up with (and it really didn’t matter) was living room furniture arrangement. We (very easily) rearranged the living room furniture to a horseshoe shape to cozy up our conversations and tv time. So again, no complaints 😊

Location is close to Houghton and MTU, sleeps many bodies, and has all the comforts of home, as well as 2 bathrooms. In addition, this home is pet friendly.
Home is historical, so expect things to be older. Gives the place a lot of charm but others might not appreciate it. They should stay elsewhere.
