Owen made us feel so welcome and gave us tips on interesting places to visit (the Hokitika Gorge is great) and where to dine. The apartment was impeccable, warm, beds so comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast items were unexpected and such a bonus.

The host was very kind and helpful. They provided a lot of useful information about Hokitika, including great places to eat and visit. The location of the house was excellent—close to the beach and also near the main street. The house was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great, so we had a very relaxing stay. We would love to come back again!
We may have missed it, but there didn’t seem to be an induction cooktop or a way to grill at the house. However, a microwave, toaster, and electric kettle were all provided. Since there are restaurants nearby and breakfast was included, we didn’t really need to cook, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Hosts Owen & Pina were outstanding, most friendly greeting on arrival and thoroughly showing us what services and facilities on offer. Fridge and cupboard goodies were a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend staying at Owen & Pina's accommodation.
