The Tamar Ridge Lookout 2BR 2Bath Suite

Location was great. Fantastic views. Bed was comfortable. Good sized shower. Lots of kitchen equipment and comfortable lounge and dining areas.

There was no lock to the main outside door which meant that when using both the main and the studio apartment you could not allow access between the two overnight...not ideal for a family. Also, no tumble dryer. Parking wasn't great...but was OK.

We have stayed in the apartments/Chalets at Tamar Ridge multiple times a year over the last 7 or so years and we love them. This was the case with again with our most recent stay. The outlook is beautiful, they are spacious and well equipped. Quiet and comfortable. My pet hate when staying in “private accommodation” is they can become a dumping ground of mismatched crockery and furniture etc but this couldn’t be further from our stay. We stayed in Apartment 14 this time and it was beautifully clean and well equipped with everything and more that you might need. Would stay again in a heartbeat

I would love a full length mirror and some more hooks in the bathrooms

This property is breathtaking, we were overwhelmingly happy & Angela was excellent, we couldn’t be happier.

It really needs a dishwasher. I would even pay for it myself to be installed.

Tamar Ridge 2B2B Lookout #14 This is such a lovely apartment with expansive views in any weather - and we experienced a beautiful sunny, blue sky day and wet, grey days. It’s early April and though the temperatures are cool, the place was warm and cozy as the heating works very well. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and supportive with crisp linens - wonderful to get in after our days of exploring and winery lunches. The kitchen has some additional condiments if you want to cook. But it’s the extra touches - the soft fluffy white towels in abundance, enough TP for the whole stay, the instant hot water, the strong water pressure and large shower (with a view!), and nicely decorated interior that add to the comforts and luxury. If you rent it as a 2B2B, the second bedroom has a queen bed with glorious views and is a self-contained studio with its own large bathroom as well as kitchen facilities. The fact that it’s only steps from the winery and gin & whisky tasting is a big added extra, and Launceston is only 20 minutes away. Very central location. Legana and Exeter are just over 5 minutes away and we picked up breakfast supplies before getting here.
