​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Gem in Polonnaruwa – Unmatched Hospitality! ​If you are planning a trip to Polonnaruwa, look no further than Greenfield Haven. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the wonderful hosts, Raja and his wife. Their brilliant hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable; they are the kindest, most attentive hosts you could ever hope to meet, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. ​One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. The home-cooked meals prepared by Raja’s wife were spectacular—authentic, incredibly flavorful Sri Lankan dishes made fresh with local ingredients. Every meal felt like a feast, and it completely ruined eating at restaurants for us because nothing else could compete with her cooking! ​On top of the incredible food and warmth, Raja is an absolute lifesaver when it comes to organizing tours and things to do. Whether you want to rent bicycles to explore the ruins or set up an itinerary, he takes care of all the logistics seamlessly, saving you any travel stress. ​The location is also perfect. It manages to feel like a tranquil, peaceful escape surrounded by nature, yet it is exceptionally central to all the major attractions. The ancient city ruins, Gal Vihara Rock Temple, and Lankathilaka Image House are just a short trip away, making it the perfect base for sightseeing. ​Thank you, Raja and family, for an incredible, authentic stay. We cannot recommend Greenfield Haven highly enough and will definitely be back!
