Nhà Waratah Homestay and Restaurant

Awesome Homestay! Very clean and tidy. About a 5 min walk from the pier, it is a bit uphill but you can jump on a scooter/car if you need to. There was a woman at the pier already waiting for me with a sign with my name to point me in the right direction! Ha-Le (the owner) wasn’t there for my stay but she was extremely helpful over WhatsApp and replied almost instantly each time I contacted her. Her staff were delightful and assisted in helping me with best snorkelling spots, providing equipment and organising motorbike rentals. My room was large, had a nice big bathroom and bed. Water and great wifi was provided. I’ve heard the food here is delicious, but as Ha-Le was away the restaurant was closed during my stay, but so many other great options down by the water too!

The walls are extremely thin, there is no sound proofing. Very common on the islands and it just makes the homestay more authentic! But be aware if you are wanting a very quiet stay this may not be the right choice for you.

Qué es Un lugar más que estupendo para quedarse en el paraíso! La dueña nos ayudó con todo, siempre pendiente, y la chica que estaba allí también muy atenta. Puedes alquilar motos allí mismo, todo súper fácil. La habitación muy bonita y el sitio para desayunar también. Nos gustó mucho. Y a 5 minutos del puerto pero muy muy tranquilo

Everything was amazing. Especially the beautiful dinner lovingly cooked by Ha Le :) it was my daughter’s birthday (we had a group of 9) and she made it so very special with a cake and the most amazing variety of fresh local dishes. She organised scooters for our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Staff very helpful. We were all very happy. Thank you 🙏
