The Royal Hotel Morpeth

Location is good with parking available out the back. Staff were very friendly. Meals were very good. Accommodation price is reasonable and the rooms and bedding were comfortable. Upstairs accommodation facilities and bathrooms are very clean.

If you're ok with reasonably priced pub accommodation and good atmosphere with cold beers, there is nothing not to like!

Location, beautiful building. Food in the pub was awesome also.

I would upgrade to a larger room if you are not staying as a single person.

Overall comfort and cleanliness. Staff were excellent.

Nothing

Bed was comfortable and I would say everything was adequate.

Rooms (and the entire upstairs) were a little run down , I could hear the noisy group of women that staggered in screeching drunk at 3:30am clear as a bell through the wall and the squeaking of the hallway floor. I guess that’s not really the Royal Hotel’s fault, but it did put a dampener on what would have been otherwise a decent night’s sleep. Bathroom was a little run down but it seemed clean.
