Étoile de fatima - au cœur de la médina

We had a wonderful stay at Étoile de Fatima – Au Cœur de la Médina. The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the Medina and within a short walking distance of Jemaa el-Fna and the Mellah area. The neighbourhood felt safe and secure throughout our stay. From the moment we made the booking until our departure, Samira was incredibly helpful and responsive. She answered all our questions, helped us find a guide and driver, and gave us useful advice about nearby hotels, shops, restaurants and places to visit. Her communication made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The property felt like a genuine family home, and we had access to all the facilities we needed, including free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning. During our stay, Marrakech was extremely hot, reaching around 43°C, so the air conditioning was very welcome. Samira also kindly provided us with an extra fan, which was very thoughtful. A special mention to Sadia, who welcomed us, handed over the keys and patiently explained everything about the house. She was lovely, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We travelled as a family and particularly enjoyed the authentic Medina atmosphere. Our children felt comfortable in the neighbourhood and even spent time playing with the local cats in the street late into the night. The area gave us a wonderful feeling of experiencing the real, local side of Marrakech. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Étoile de Fatima to families or groups looking for a comfortable, authentic and well-located place to stay in Marrakech. The only downside was the extreme Marrakech heat, reaching around 43°C during our stay. Although there was air conditioning and an additional fan was provided, the temperature was still challenging. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Mosquitos na casa de banho. Quase sem detergente para louca e o que havia era misturado com água. Para 4 adultos, e para 6 noites só deixaram 2 rolos papel higiénico . Pedimos mais e mandaram-nos comprar 😱 e foi o que fizemos. O apartamento não tem janelas, o que provoca um ar pesado que alivia com o ar condicionado. Todos os colchões são um pouco duros e não recomendo para mais de 2 adultos, ou com crianças, pois as camas de solteiros são muito pequenas. No dia anterior ao check-in o proprietário insistiu incessantemente para pagar a caução de 100€ caso contrário não podia entrar. Ora como nem sequer tinha feito o check-in, não pagava adiantado, só pagava quanto lá estivesse pessoalmente,. Gerou um pouco de stress com trocas de SMS e no fim foi equívoco do proprietário. Super difícil de encontrar o NR da porta pois o Google Maps não identifica a rua. Se não tivesse contrato o Sr do táxi que conhece o local andariamos super perdidos De resto foi tudo normal. E quem sabe um dia repetir

Nous vous conseillons ce logement idéal jusqu’à 6 personnes, très bien situé à proximité d’une magique place des Ferblantiers, pleine de vie et toute commodités. A 20 minutes à pieds vous rejoigniez la place centrale Jamaa El Fna. Myriam est très accueillante et vraiment gentille. Youssef très disponible vous guide et vous accueille chaleureusement. Il propose des services navette aéroport, visites touristiques avec chauffeurs attitrés. Le service est sans faille, alors n’hésitez pas.

La literie pour les 4 lits simples doit pouvoir être améliorée même si elle est réalisée dans le style des traditions

Price quoted did not include 24 euros tax for one night. After confirmation we were hit with the news that a further 20 euro cleaning fee would be applied, and a 100 euro deposit was demanded. Hard to find. The kitchen seemed laid out as a booby trap. The electric cable to oven is frayed, heavy dishes are piled into a plastic chest of drawers unit. The radios were not connected to power supply. The kitchen tap was layered with verdegris and had almost no pressure.
