Ocean View with infinity swiming pool

Apartment is spacious with nice view, communal swimming pool has stunning views

It's not a penthouse, there are apartments above you. It's not a private swimming pool but a communal swimming pool

Good sized apartment , everything you needed was there including a couple of beach towels . Nice balcony to sit out with sea view in the distance . 3 bedrooms one with ensuite bathroom and a separate bathroom. 2 outdoor loungers were provided too . Comes with allocated car park if you're planning to hire a car as we did .

We feel we have been miss-sold the booking based on the fact the property was advertised as a penthouse apartment with private pool and that wasn't true . I had specifically booked this apartment because according to the description, it would offer us the privacy we wanted being on our honeymoon. We arrived at the property to discover it's not actually a penthouse apartment, it's on the 3rd floor with apartments above on the 4th floor . The pool is on the rooftop and is actually a shared pool with other residents in the apartment block . We were so disappointed , it wasn't the start to our honeymoon that we expected . I immediately messaged the host , at first he was dismissive about my complaint and said the description states the pool is on a different floor, on the rooftop. So I asked him what his definition of a penthouse was because clearly what he was advertising was not what we got and as such we didn't get what we paid for . Had we known this wasn't a penthouse with a private pool , we would have booked somewhere else . We're not happy that it spoiled the beginning of our honeymoon. The host agreed to change the description to sea view apartment with infinity pool , therefore accepting the original property title was not a true statement . We are still deciding if we should take it further , at the end of the day it was blatant false advertising. A couple of other points to mention , the sofa was hard and quite uncomfortable to sit on . Beds were hard too and could benefit from extra blankets as we were a bit cold on a few nights . The water pressure in the showers wasn't great and water was turned off for 2 hours a day . Whilst we understand that wasn't in the hosts control as it's done centrally across the island to save water, but we could have been warned about it as it would have saved us panicking wondering why we had no water .
