Pam's Cottage

Lovely quaint, comfortable 2 up 2 down cottage with the added addition of downstairs bathroom (shower over bath) located in a quiet lane in the centre of Winchcombe. Property had everything we needed for our stay. Welcome basket was a lovely touch, linens, and towels provided. There are plenty of places to eat within Winchcombe with at least 5 pubs. Great location for our stay walking distance to Sudeley Castle, with Tewkesbury Cheltenham & Stratford-Upon-Avon close by.

Paid parking is a short walking distance from property, which is very responsibility priced, but you do need to factor this into your stay. However, other residents parked directly outside the property with the front end of the vehicle overhanging the doorstep. This is no reflection of the property owners but the local residents. In hot weather, an additional linen sheet on the bed or a summer duvet would be a great benefit along with a fan.(We brought our own fan following other reviews as we had plenty of room in the car)

Beautiful location and surroundings. Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean. Shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay again. Close to walking trails.

We booked for December. The heating was insufficient for the cold weather. The storage heaters, which we were told would be pre-set, didn't give out any heat at all. The small fire in the living room, which is a hot air heater, would benefit from being cleaned and serviced, a bit old and dusty. The bedding was saturated with detergent, a fragrance that was far too overpowering. We found it difficult to breathe and it seeped into our belongings, clothing, skin. Beds are comfortable. Cozy bedrooms. For us the cold and fragrance made our stay uncomfortable, but the cottage is beautiful. Other than that, we found it to be a restful, peaceful retreat.
