The Cabin Crooklets

The cabin was clean, had good facilities in the kitchen and we appreciated the extra touches like soap, washing up liquid and shower gel provided for us. Although it was hot, the cabin was quite cool with the windows and door open and the beds were comfortable and we slept really well.

More of a personal thing but would have been great to have a TV but we understood that perhaps this is intended to be more of a peaceful stay without one. Games are provided and there are books to read to counter this 😊

The stay was perfect for what we needed for a few days. We travelled with our little dog as well, and the small garden with the cottage was perfect for her and made it alot easier than when we stayed at hotels, it was very clean and a perfect location.

I enjoyed a quiet night close to the South West Coast path. The cabin is more then well equiped and offers more space than a common hotel room. It was perfect for me.

Host emailed us early to say cabin was ready early. Basic essentials available. Clean Enclosed, private. Only 5 pounds per night for our dog Access to amenities was good. Good parking but not outside the property. Good selection of games and books. Nice to sit outside on the swing seat.

Cabin was much to small for my husband. We ate both slightly overweight but my husband struggled with the bathroom. He has bad knees and back and the bed was impossible for him. The settee was very uncomfortable. Impossible for us to get up from. Had to build up the cushions to make a more comfortable higher seat. I had to sleep on the settee the second night so my husband could sleep along the bed to get out. The bedroom felt claustrophobic with the spare bed protruding over it.
