Serenity House with Large terrace

it was a separate place all to myself. no one staying above, below or to the sides of me. the bedroom itself was very nice. i am writing this review to balance the other 1 star review , which i don’t think is entirely fair. however, there are some caveats (see below ) and i think the owner would benefit by investing a little into making the accommodations more hospitable .

it is not advertised properly , it is an open to the jungle property . and i mean “open” as in : the kitchen, and the living room / terrace are all exposed to the elements. Even the bathroom (though it has a door) is exposed to elements has no exhaust fan or proper mosquito screen , so bugs and mosquitos and humidity just build up. if you are looking for that experience it is “great” - but that needs to be made clear. on the day of checkout, the power was cut early- i was told this was due to power outage , it was not (i checked) the tea kettle broke on day 3 - i was not given a replacement , i asked for standard things like a kitchen towel and bathroom matt - i was told they don’t provide this.
