Bougainvillea Bliss

What an amazing 4 nights in the heart of Skala. The apartment is clean, and the interior is top quality. It has a view over the bustling main road (fun for people watching), but the sound proofing means it’s silent when the doors are shut. The family who own this (and the fantastic restaurant below) were so nice, always on hand to help and their restaurant serves the best food in Skala. They even gave us wine after hours when we’d ran out, and threw in a free dessert. Last but not least, you are a 2 minute walk from the beach and have restaurants and shops within seconds of the apartment. The best few days!

Although this apt is on main street, don’t be discouraged, it’s handy for everything and if you want a swim or pool just visit hotels nearby. It may seem expensive but booking a package in a decent hotel is pretty much the same price. I’d use it again no problem. btw. You won’t hear any noise on the main street, the balcony doors cut everything out, not that there is much noise. Take the cushions in at night, it stops the cats partying on the balcony. Enjoy…. We did.
