Simple Welsh Terrace with Valley Views

Great location, big terrace, traditional UK semi-detached house.

Host demanded sorting waste, but no clear instructions with multiple bins present. Some leaflet was present, but it's very confusing. We tried our best without spending hours studying local rules, though. Also, many lamps were not working, and some places require host care.

We had a lovely stay at Owen’s charming two-storey house in Swansea. The property is quite old and not perfect, but that gives it a wonderful traditional character, cosy feel and very positive atmosphere. It is reasonably well maintained, clean and comfortable. Owen was very responsive and clearly explained the lockbox, parking and rubbish disposal. We especially liked the dining room, with its tasteful collection of crockery and fascinating selection of books, reflecting the good taste of the owner(s). The Wi-Fi and TV worked well, much to our daughter’s delight! Overall, a warm and enjoyable stay—we’d happily stay here again when visiting Swansea or nearby areas.

Parking was a little more limited than we had expected from the information provided, although fortunately I was able to find a nearby space throughout our stay. There were also a couple of minor issues, such as the inner entrance door not locking from outside and the bathroom bin being full on arrival however none of these affected our overall enjoyable stay.

We thought the flat is charming and spacious. There were many thoughtful touches like games and a selection of quality dvds. There was a really cool old timers radio that gets good Swansea Bay Radio signal and plenty of loo roll, soaps and some useful stuff in the kitchen cupboards. and Close to a bus stop. Nice quiet area to come home to. Nice view from the garden patio. Had all the facilities- Good WiFi, shower, Kitchenware, iron and washing machine. Generally felt like a home away from home. Instructions to get in was straight foward and nice helpful neighbours. Lovely Place. We Fully recommend 👌 👍 staying in this house.
