Emmas House

Totul a fost foarte bine.

Two years ago we made a round trip around Thasos and fell in love with Panagia, so this time we chose to stay right in the village. We booked last minute, so we were quite lucky to get it — and it turned out to be the best decision. Emma is a wonderful host: friendly, answering questions before we even asked, in contact throughout, and meeting us on time at the house. There were welcoming gifts on arrival and cute gifts for our child on each of Emma's visits, plus great taverna tips. We stayed in July as a family with a 6-year-old, in Apartment 1 (two levels — kitchen and living room below, bedroom and terrace above). It's as beautiful as the photos, if not more. Remarkably, it stayed cool without any air conditioning — a first for us in Greece in July! Hot water was always available and the kitchen had everything we needed. My favourite spot was the terrace — the view from it is exquisite and breathtaking (I'm adding some photos!). Panagia itself is a beautiful traditional village, and the apartment is a minute from the Love Spring photo spot with its little stone bridge. We visited Sotirelis Olive Oil Mills & Museum (est. 1915) — a traditional working olive oil producer — and bought quality olive oil, olives and souvenirs, and there's a lovely little bakery near the church selling authentic Greek feta and spinach pita. Parking is a nearby public spot Emma directs you to — a real relief, since in a traditional hillside village like this it's a rarity. It was always free for us, a short walk from the door, with the steep bit driven rather than walked. Golden Beach is the closest (~6 km, ~10 min by car), Paradise Beach well worth the trip (~16 km, ~25 min), and Aliki a bit further (~24 km, ~35 min) with ancient ruins as a bonus. All three are shallow and sandy — perfect for kids. Panagia is 13 minutes from Limenas and a great base for exploring the whole island. Thank you, Emma, for a wonderful, relaxing vacation!

Апартаменты расположены в деревне Панагия, на мой взгляд самая колоритная и атмосферная из всех на острове. Буквально в самом центре деревни. Рядом и кафе, и магазинчики и сувенирные лавки. Самое ценное - вид, который открывается из квартиры. Утром пить кофе на балконе было сень приятно, а вечером под шум горной речки, которая протекает прям рядом, наслаждаться бокалом холодного вина )) Хозяйка Эмма, максимально заботливая девушка, которая всегда и по всем вопросам была на связи!

Все было просто прекрасно 👍🏼
