Kester International Apartment Hotel

The location is good. Breakfast is good.

Sun Hei, our host, has been excellent. He treated us well and answered all of our requests. He would check on us daily and remind us of the meals time. If we were not able to go eat, he would send us food to the room. We were even able to check out late at no cost. At first I was hesitant since there were no reviews, but I believe this was the best stay in Nairobi for its value. We had a fridge, a washing machine, a water cooler and a kettle. The location is very convenient, many markets and malls around, safe, and quite area yet 2min walk from the road. The place is really nice, room service is on demand and the hospitality made the stay very nice and friendly. I advise anyone visiting Nairobi to stay here.

The location was great and the building is very nice. The man who greeted us was very friendly and attentive. Shampoo and body wash was great. They provided 2 bottles of water.

The apartment was nice but it was not 100% clean. The bathroom sink and toilet was dirty and smelled a little. The bed linen was incomplete and the pillow had a strange smell. 1 hand towel had a terrible stain. The trash can and some tea cups were dirty. It seemed like they were not ready for our arrival because the person in charge had no idea which apartment he would put us in, but he was still nice. The actual host texted us 1:30 am. in the morning asking when we would check in (we checked in at 6 pm the day before). Then, the host said that our payment did not go through (they never charged us so we assumed that it was paid through booking.com since the card was in) and then started harassing saying that we wanted to avoid payment, which we already told him that we would pay once we are back from our safari.
