Vee Condo 502

The place was clean and had lots of light. The balcony was great for hanging laundry and storing my bicycle. It was great to have a kitchenette to save money on food (I stayed for a month). Location is nice. Good restaurants around and a short walk from Checkpoint Market, which is open every night. The 24-hour mini mart is great for when you need last-minute food/toiletries/etc. Was spacious and comfortable enough. The building and neighbors were quiet. I almost never heard the neighbors and even being on a busy road, the road traffic was not loud in the condo. The property owner was super nice and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. I could easily arrange to have clean sheets and towels with the friendly staff. He also picked me up from the airport when I arrived, which was great.

The bed was hard as a rock but I took the futon from the trundle bed in the living room and put that under the sheets for a much more comfortable sleep. The location of the condo on the booking site was much further south than it showed on the site map. In reality, it's further north on 105 between 3050 and AH1. It's best if you have a mode of transportation like a moped or car, as Mae Sot is not a walking city. I found a bike after a few weeks and that helped, but the condo was much further from my work than I had anticipated. All the planning I had done around the condo's location, I had to throw away and start over. That was a major bummer. Wish the booking site location were accurate. If it weren't so far from work, I would have stayed another month or two in the condo.
