Modern 4 Bedroom Home with Sauna and Game Room in Gated Lake Community

The house was clean, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, which made the evenings very cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped with the basic utensils and cookware we needed for our stay.

One thing that was misleading is the listing description. The house is not located on or overlooking a lake. It is inside a gated community that has a lake, but the lake itself is about a 5-minute drive from the property. If you're expecting a lakefront or lake-view home, this may be disappointing. The host responded to messages very quickly, which we appreciated. However, our experience with communication was mixed. The house was stocked with only two rolls of toilet paper for seven guests and just one roll of paper towels. When I asked if we could get more, the initial response was that we would need to buy them ourselves. Later, the host changed her mind and sent additional supplies. While the issue was eventually resolved, the first response didn't feel very welcoming.
