Bhimtal Birding Lodge!! I have been deeply engaged in nature and wildlife photography for the past 20 years ( My Instagram account @vijopix) and am a regular visitor to Bhimtal and Sattal, exploring the hidden gems of nature there. I must say, there are very few places in Bhimtal where you can experience nature, comfort, accessibility, delicious food (for me the local delicacies) , warm hospitality, and cleanliness—all perfectly balanced. It truly feels like a home away from home. This review is for my recent stay here for six nights in January 2026, and every single day offered the same level of comfort and satisfaction. The entire team—Rohit Bhai, Karan, Mani, Bhuwan Da—is incredibly cordial, and Prabhu Hazara, the owner, is an exceptionally amazing person—not just as a birder and a knowledgeable guide, but also as a wonderful human being. Prabhu ensures that every guest feels completely at ease, which I genuinely appreciate. I will definitely return to this place again on my future trips to Sattal and Bhimtal, and I would highly recommend nature lovers and photographers to make it a top priority, as it offers true value for money along with a sense of inner peace. Location Staffs

Little bit expensive

The Staff was very friendly. Two resources Himanshu and Bhuwan were manging everything.

The location is good, but the beds are small, bathrooms are very small, and many things were not present e.g. Kettle in room, Toiletries. Some improvements are required.
