Apartment was located in a great location! We were able to walk to everywhere in the city. There was a wonderful breakfast place just across the street and if you didn't feel like dining out, great take-away places just a block or two down the street. The main shopping street was a five minute walk. There was a Mini-Coop across the street and a Coop 5 minutes away.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. Snacks and water were provided and after a long day of travel and were very much appreciated. The owner even provided us with a new container of laundry soap. There were extra towels and plenty of hot water.
This is a lovely apartment and we were so happy to be able to stay there. I highly recommend.

It was that time of the year when the annual reminder that another year as passed by and at least you should treat yourself even if it is just as a reminder that you made it through another year. I had decided to make a lifetime trip onto the Bernina Express train through the Swiss and Italian Alps passing over 196 bridges and 55 tunnels, climbing to an engineering incredible 2,253m.
This was the final 2 nights of our 5-day trip across the Swiss Alps and we decided to treat ourselves to an outstanding stay at the Horizon Home Penthouse in Zurich, we were greeted by the host who met us at the property. The property is located on the top floor of a office building with direct lift access, the property is nothing short of spectacular in terms of cleanliness, size, views from the rooftop terrace and service from the host which was impeccable.
When the host whose name (I apologise profusely for not remembering) had given us a tour of the apartment and the amazing roof terrace found out that it was my birthday he immediately left and bought back an amazing bottle of champagne for us to celebrate the special day – thank you so much.
To summarise how fantastic this penthouse apartment is will require someone with greater vocabulary skills than myself but needless to say, I highly recommend the Horizon Home Penthouse for anyone staying in Zurich for a special occasion with family or friends. There is every amenity in the apartment with a fantastic en-suite bathroom and family bathroom and superb fully equipped kitchen.
I really enjoyed my stay here and my only regret was staying in January meant that we could not take full advantage of the rooftop terrace and hot tub – oh well we will just have to come back in the summer.
The heating system was difficult to control and a central located thermostat such as a hive or nest would have been the icing on the cake, definitely something for the host to consider.

Location was fantastic. Love the decor and comfort. Well furnished, beds were very comfortable and coffee machine was wonderful. Roof top area is very nice also.
