About this cabin rental
Nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan, this Washington Island log cabin boasts sleeping for up to 11 people: 3 queen beds, 3 twin beds, and 1 full bed. Like most cabin rentals on Washington Island, we provide blankets & pillows, as well as dish & hand towels, but not sheets or bath towels. (See the amenities list for other details).
Take a beautiful car ferry from Northport, WI, to relax and unwind in rustic comfort. Sit on the expansive deck to watch a gorgeous sunrise in the mornings and sit around the firepit to enjoy the million-star skies at night. The cabin offers a beautiful propane stove (think: woodstove look without the woodstove mess), as well as electric baseboard heat; full kitchen, comfy living room, cards & cribbage & games; no wifi but a great selection of DVDs to enjoy with the whole family.
Guests often book both Sunrise Lodge and Sunrise Nook, as they are on neighboring shorefront lots. Each cabin has about 200' of rocky shore with shallow water that is perfect for wading, kayaking or canoeing, and is just right for groups that include young children. Families love to be able to have multi-generational stays at these two cabins with just-enough-but-not-too-much togetherness! ;-)

The host was wonderful and the house was beautiful! Cozy and peaceful for our long weekend getaway. The host communicated everything we needed to know (and more) and was welcoming and friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Sunrise Lodge!

We had an amazing time here! So peaceful and relaxing right on the water. We were so glad it was pet friendly as we bring our dogs with us to enjoy the fun! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
