About this chalet rental
Cocoonr is offering this charming little 40 m² alpine chalet for rent, situated in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, in the heart of the mountains and close to the ski resorts. Ideal for a holiday for four, it comprises a 10 m² living area, a fully equipped kitchenette, a mezzanine converted into a sleeping area, a bathroom with a shower, and a shared 100 m² terrace. Wi-Fi is included – all that’s missing is you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground floor:
– A 10 m² living area with a sofa, armchair, dining area with a bench, and a kitchenette equipped with, amongst other things: an electric kettle, oven and hob…
– A shower room (with shower) and toilet.
First floor:
A mezzanine with a sleeping area divided into two sections: a double sofa bed (140×190) and two single beds (90×190).
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: a barbecue, a high chair and a cot.
Outside:
- A 100 m² south-facing terrace, shared with the residence, with outdoor furniture to enjoy sunny days
The property is situated on the hills above Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse (at 1,350 m), in very pleasant surroundings. Within about ten minutes’ walk, you’ll find all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…
Activities:
- La Stass’ all-year-round ski resort, about 1 minute (220 m) on foot
- St Hugues Les Egaux downhill ski resort, about 15 minutes (8.7 km) by car
- Le Planolet resort, about 11 minutes (4 km) by car
- Outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, trail running, paragliding, etc.)
- The Grande Chartreuse Museum, about 14 minutes (7.8 km) by car
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the accommodation (50 m).
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Grenoble railway station, approximately 55 mins (32.7 km) by car
- Nearest airport: Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc Airport, approximately 1 hour (49.5 km) by car

- Pets are allowed, subject to a supplement of €15 per stay (one pet only); please specify this when booking
- Wi-Fi included
- Bed linen and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (to be arranged and paid for with the property manager on site). The prices quoted are for guidance only and are subject to change by the property manager
- This property is located in the same place as “Le Grand Som”, another property we manage. They can all be rented individually or as a group, subject to availability
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the property for future guests. Please leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A fixed-rate surcharge may apply
