The unit includes comfy beds with plush bedding. A cozy living room with smart TV, games and books, a full, well-appointed kitchen with oven, range and dishwasher, a full bath, and your private washer and dryer.
Guest Access:
Access to the apartment is on the ground-level street. no back alleyways to navigate.
The Neighborhood:
The Carrollton Riverbend neighborhood is yours for the exploring! Catch the iconic New Orleans streetcar by walking two blocks to the track. Or, stay in the Riverbend and enjoy all the 30+ restaurants, cafes, pubs and music venues of Oak Street, Carrollton Avenue and Maple Street.
Getting Around:
Getting around is very easy. Your about 10 minutes by car away from downtown, City Park and other great attractions. Be 5 minutes away from Audubon Zoo and Audubon Park.
The house is 2 blocks from the Streetcar route which can bring you all the way into the CBD, Warehouse District and French Quarter for only $1.25 per ride.
Bike lanes are built in to many major streets in the area.
If you prefer to explore on foot, there are more than 30 restaurants, pubs, boutiques and cafes within blocks.
Other Things to Note:
My family lives upstairs. We have a dog and a small child. Family noise of pitter-patter/ footfalls or occasional barking may be heard in the apartment. Our child goes to bed around 8:30pm and our dog rarely barks at night.
Interaction with Guests:
My family and I live upstairs. If we catch each other coming or going, we'll say a quick hello! We follow our guests lead on how much interaction they would like with us.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend visiting family in the neighborhood. Great restaurants and music just a couple of blocks away. We enjoyed Brigtsen for a nice dinner with our group. Away from the big tourist areas but lots to do.
