About this cabin rental
This two-story cabin is situated on three grassy lots, in a quiet neighborhood, just a few feet from a sandy beach. The lake is shallow off the beach and is a perfect place for children to play. There just aren't many places on the lake where you can enjoy a private sandy beach with easy access to the water.
When you enter our home, you'll see that the main floor has a fully outfitted kitchen, laundry room with washer & dryer, full bath, and a living area with a 46" TV. This downstairs area also offers a comfortable sitting area with a queen sofa bed.
The upstairs is an open plan with two queen beds, a bathroom (with shower), and a sitting area with a 55" TV. It opens onto a balcony overlooking the beach and lake; a perfect spot to have a morning cup of coffee and watch the wildlife.
Both TVs have Roku which lets you access streaming service such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and more (requires your own login). The cabin offers fiber WiFi, at no extra charge.
The cabin faces east, which means you can see beautiful sunrises and enjoy mostly shaded afternoons. Our wonderful shade trees help you stay cool on those summer afternoons.
Outside there is a covered porch and a large deck that is shaded most of the day, a hammock, gas grill (we provide the propane), a fire pit, and large, fenced yard. There are plenty of seating options to help you enjoy your stay. Also, there are two kayaks and a pedal boat for guests to use with no additional fee (we have a few life vests, but feel free to bring your own).
While the kitchen is great for cooking, there are also a number of restaurants within a short drive. There is a large grocery store and a few restaurants just five minutes away in Onalaska. Our home is located about midway between Hunstville and Livingston, both towns noted for numerous antique shops and great restaurants.
We do our best to clean and maintain the beach. However, the Trinity River brings a lot of debris into the lake and some of that debris can wash up on our beach, especially a few days after a storm up north. We appreciate your understanding.
Our favorite time is reclining in the peaceful shade, just a few steps from the beach, looking out over the lake and watching the many types of birds. We hope you will come visit and experience that joy for yourself.

Man it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. We literally had like a perfect beach nook. Watching the lake through a thunderstorm when we arrived to waking up to a super beautiful sunrise that followed with an absolute gorgeous day at the lake. The decks/balcony gave way to plenty of lounging in the sun while the hammock let us sway forever in the breeze, listening to the water. Lots of birds tweeting by & this sweet local feline who kept us company while we fished(caught 1 catfish), built sand castles, danced in the huge yard & hunted for pretty rock/sea glass treasures! At dusk my husband made a supreme roasty toasty fire in the pit for us & we got to see the full red moon come up! Loved that we could relax here as a 3 piece family comfortably. The kitchen was well kept(the whole house really) & having the grill to make delicious meats was also legit. A/C workes great & we appreciated the ol' dvds too!-glad there was a rake in the shed to clear a patch of beach for my son to play!Thankyou for hosting our family! Will definitely book here again

Kevin was very responsive and easy to work with. We had all that we needed and enjoyed a relaxing stay at the lakeside cabin. Definitely will be coming back!

The cabin was well equipped; and very nicely set up.We enjoyed the paddleboat. It was so pleasent to enjoy the view over the lake, and watch the various birds.This was a perfect escape getaway for us, and we look forward to staying here again.

This was our first time staying at a lake house cabin in Lake Livingston and we definitely picked the best place for our family. The view of the lake was amazing, and our kids enjoyed the beach, swimming and riding the paddle boat. Great fishing, relaxing on the deck and by the fire pit. The house itself was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again for our next getaway!
