Just 10 minutes to Bassenthwaite, 5 miles, 20 minutes to Keswick and Cockermouth, 12 miles. If you fancy being more active, the Lake District Fells’ renowned walking and cycling trails are on your doorstep offering both gentle and more challenging endeavours enabling you to take in the abundance of birds and wildlife this area has to offer. The historic, alluring village of Bassenthwaite with its magnificent lake and access to Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England, is a 10-minute drive.
