Situated on a working family farm there is always plenty to see and do. Mountain biking and cycling are popular in the area with a network of trails including coast to coast. From the Shepods there is easy access to the Smardale Gill National Park with incredible views from the viaduct. Scandel beck is an easy 10-minute stroll and there is a wide network of footpaths leading to other spectacular walks and views. Bar and restaurant 2 miles.
