The Secret Maisonette Rochester

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and all the thoughtful little details made us feel really welcome. The appliances were clearly explained, so everything was super easy to use. The place was incredibly cosy and had all the comforts of a much bigger home. We felt genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived until we left. The balcony was amazing, and the electric candles were such a lovely touch for creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere!

We asked for an early check-in and had to pay an extra fee, but that's fair I guess, as you would usually expect the same at a hotel.

I like how everything is convenient and the style was amazing.

This is a little hidden gem, very quaint and comfortable and has all the amenities you require. Location is great and very peaceful. Hosts are very welcoming and communication is very efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.

My visit was a long stay, and I can say wholeheartedly that this place is a wonderful accommodation! The hosts are friendly and attentive, making it easy to get in contact with them in case of emergencies. You can tell the hosts take pride in this accommodation as the home was inviting, beautiful, featuring some locally-themed décor, and was equipped with everything you could need for a stay, plus more! As I stayed for a longer period of time, the hosts provided me with access to the washing machine, complimentary washing pods and toilet roll, and they provided me with fresh bedding and towels each week. The location itself was perfect as it was easy access into the town centre, whether walking or via bus, and multiple nature walks are just a short walk away. I had a comfortable stay here and would book The Secret Maisonette if I was to visit Rochester in the future.

Nothing that I disliked, just a heads up on the cooking apples falling off of the tree onto the roof, as they may startle you initially, but you soon get used to it.
