Boutique apartment Antwerp

Leuke locatie en ruim appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. De airco was top en zeker nodig met de 30+ graden die wij hadden tijdens ons verblijf!

Er kan geen raam open en dat ruik je. De inrichting ziet er in een oogopslag mooi uit, maar laat wat te wensen over aan comfort. Het is ontzettend donker bij het keuken gedeelte, zelfs met alle gordijnen open. Het bed op de benedenverdieping mag een wat steviger matras krijgen, deze was zo zacht en had flinke kuilen.

There was a strong pipe/sewerage smell that made in unbearable to stay in the bed downstairs- we had to move upstairs to a different bed. The smell came and went but got so strong I was gagging. Dirty laundry and linen from previous guests were left in a bag inside the apartment by the front door. There were cobwebs on the curtains behind the bed downstairs and it looked like the floors had not been vacuumed between us and last guests. While the bedroom upstairs was comfortable the walls made it look like we came during renovations as there was plaster on the walls it looked unfinished. It was also not very soundproof - we could hear what sounded like someone showering and conversations as well as a lot of street noise. All in all this place has potential with a few changes it would be a very pleasant place to stay but I think the photos on the listing are misleading and did not match reality.
