Nick was great. Flexible and accommodating. Felt confident driving out to Polihale on a very bad road. Vehicle was well stocked. Provided snorkeling equipment and two-person kayak at a reasonable price.
I should have asked more questions on how to set up the topper. Pretty much every dashboard light lit up. It's a little weird just rendezvousing in the Wailua River Park parking lot, but it worked out fine.
Bailed on camping the last night as the weather was bad.

Nick was amazing with coordinating pick up as we were returning from a huge hike with no idea when we'd be back. He was very responsive and helpful, meeting us after hours. The car itself was very capable and ready to go anywhere. The guide that came with it was super helpful!
The cars look cool, are very capable off-road, and were fun to drive. I'm so glad we didn't end up with a standard rental as we wouldn't have been able to make it to many trailheads we hoped to explore.
Would definitely use this again, just would want to make sure we could have non scented sheets if possible.
While it was easy to get a hold of the company, the follow through was mediocre. We filled out multiple forms with certain requests, sent emails with questions, and these went unanswered. Most challenging was we were trying to book the remainder of the day with the car, late checkout with a fee, and they couldn't confirm until the day before so we were left guessing whether or not we'd have a car up until the day before.
I didn't even think about this before, but the smell of scented laundry detergent gives me a headache and upon opening up the tent, even with the windows open, your stuck hotboxing "fresh scent" fumes all night. I'm glad they're clean, but my heard hurt every night.
Lastly, while the company was very accommodating and understanding, some interior panels were loose, window switches pulled out of the socket, and a few other interior cosmetic things were off. They didn't impact the trip, but caused extra time to document and make sure we wouldn't be blamed for existing damage.
Lastly, the mattress is VERY thin, I'm 6'1" and was just able to sleep in the tent length-wise, but the mattress mine as well have been 3/4" thick. My inflatable backpacking pad is significantly more comfortable and cushioned than this. If you like extra firm though, you'll love this.
