Essaouira océan appartement

We've visited Essouira 7 times now, and our stay in this beautiful apartment was by far the best. The apartment is amazing, and it feels very safe, having 24-hour security at the entrance with very nice security staff. It's spotlessly clean, very spacious, has very tasteful decor and it's set in lovely grounds with a large swimming pool which was very clean too. A major factor that also made our stay so great was Anwar, who manages the apartment (the owners are very lucky to have him). He really is a wonderful man. His kind and gentle nature and the way he went out of his way to settle us in was fantastic. He even brought us round a box of Moroccon cakes and provided us with fresh fruit and water in the fridge for our arrival. Anwar explained everything to us and reassured us that he would be on hand if we needed him. In our previous visits we have usually stayed in a Riad in the Medina but this apartment was located just outside the Medina in a nice area about a 15 minute walk along the sea front to the Medina, and you can always take a local blue taxi that continually drive up and down the main road outside the apartment complex and this costs 10 dirum (approximately 90p UK sterling. We can't recommend this apartment enough, and we are already planning another visit again soon.

The property has many great amenities. A full kitchen with a coffee maker and a stove for cooking. Plenty of space inside and a great patio for sitting outside. It is located right across the beach and a 20 minute walk to the Medina. It was great to have a secure parking for our motorcycle and a car. Our host was great and very attentive and we had some fresh fruit waiting for us.

You can not predict your neighbors and how they behave. The Music festival attracted many people and locals have told us it is a mix of people and not everyone is polite and proper. Between Morocco World Cup win and the Music Festival noise after 22:00 was a negative but it is likely have impacted near every property in Essaouira this week.

Our host Anwar was very helpful he even gave us a guided tour of the Medina Property opposite the beach & promenade Kitchen well equipped
