Apartment SeaView

Based on the photos and reviews, we had high expectations and were really looking forward to staying in this apartment. In the end, the experience was unfortunately a bit disappointing from my perspective. ESSENTIALS: Payment is in cash upon arrival. The apartment is tucked away and accessible only via a steep, narrow road from the main street. The beach is approximately a 100-meter walk from the property. PROS: The photos accurately reflect reality – you can see the sunset directly, and the balcony faces west. The interior is acceptable, clean, and adequately equipped. After a Wi-Fi outage already the frist morning, the landlady compensated us by covering a data package with the operator ONE. Fast communication with the host.

CONS: There is ongoing construction of another building right next to the apartment, resulting in noise throughout the day and loud workers. Poor soundproofing between walls – we could hear even quiet conversations from neighbors. Unfortunately, a family with loud children was staying below us – just bad luck for us. For most of our stay, there was an unpleasant smell around the house in the evenings and at night, likely coming from the construction site – reminiscent of sewage. Occasional power outages – during these, water doesn't run and Wi-Fi is also down. One of the two air conditioners does not cool properly. Mosquito nets in the windows are torn and no longer functional. Some window blinds don’t work. The fridge, located right next to the bedroom, is very loud. Some light switches either don’t work or switch unreliably. Overall, the property feels a bit worn out, but still functional in a way.
