The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was excellent, with cafés, restaurants, convenience stores, and Hwaseong Fortress all within walking distance. The host was truly outstanding. Communication was prompt, they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and they were incredibly thoughtful throughout my stay. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome, and they even checked in after I returned home to make sure I had arrived safely. It was one of the warmest hosting experiences I’ve had.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Good size bathroom. Lovely fixtures throughout apartment. We were welcomed by hosts on arrival. Fantastic location. Parking space also available. Comfortable bedding. Apartment on lower ground only 3 steps so very easy if have suitcases.

Aircon only in the larger room, the smaller room has a fan - but that did not bother us. How to turn on the boiler for hot water in shower instructions not provided in English.

Excellent location and within walking distance to nearby local historic attractions and market areas (including Hanbok shops) further down Paldalmun Gate. The accommodation is very well maintained and clean and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. There is also parking space outside the property. The host also helped arrange a local taxi for us for an early morning pickup for Incheon International Airport - so wonderful! We visited in early May and in the evening the Temporary Palace is lit up and it is specular to see! There was also evening entertainment staged in the grounds around the Temporary Palace. If you dress up in the traditional Hanbok attire, entrance to the Temporary Palace is free which is great for photoshoots! If you have a car, in the outskirts of Suwon is the MBC historic film set for Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park and other films/dramas - well worth spending a day there!

Nothing to be concerned about. The only minor comment is that apartment we were in had a wet-room i.e. there is a shower but no divider so the rest of the bathroom gets wet. Slight inconvenience but plenty of towels are supplied.

We had a wonderful stay at the 행궁동-Stay. It is in a convenient location because it is a few meters away from the Artisan Street and the Hwaseong Fortress (수원 화성). Restaurants offering authentic Korean cuisine and foreign cuisine (i.e., pasta, pizza, ramen, etc.) are also accessible. Convenience stores, ATMs, and grocery marts are a few-minute walk. My friends and I also liked that there are bus and taxi stops 5 minutes and 10 minutes away. Bus stops cannot be missed because the accommodation is near a distinct landmark --the Paldalmun Gate. Additionally, the host was very hospitable and very accommodating. She gave us a warm welcome by bringing tteok and hangwa rice cakes. The accommodation has complete amenities and includes coffee and tea. She even accommodated our request for an extra mattress. She is very hands-on, approachable, and easy to communicate with through Booking.com and in-person. Before leaving, she even gave us snacks and made sure that we enjoyed our stay in Suwon.

There is nothing that we did not like.
