VIVA Ildefonso Serviced Apartments

La localización del apartamente está genial, muy cerca de la plaza Poveiro, donde están conocidos restaurantes. El apartamento está muy bien, es nuevo y en nuestro caso tenía una gran terraza.

Lo que cambiaría sería el mantenimiento de las plantas dr la tertaza, estaban secas. Con lo grande y bonita que es la terraza, esto la desmerece mucho. Mejor quitar las jardineras a tener las plantas secas.

El apartamento era pequeño ,pero muy bonito y todo nuevo .Con una terraza que se estaba muy bien .Muy bien situado ,personal muy amable .

Había un ruido fuera de una grúa todo el día un poco molesto.La sartén que tenían se pegaba todo ,y una escoba no vendría mal .Pero nada grave .Bueno y que es un tercero sin ascensor que con las maletas cuesta .

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean and conveniently located close to the city center. Self-check-in was easy, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the washing machine with dryer was a real bonus. The air conditioning also worked very well.

The apartment is attractive at first glance and generally matches the photos. The location is convenient for exploring Porto, and the city itself is wonderful. The apartment has potential and most of the issues I encountered are relatively easy to fix.

The property is more worn and less well maintained than the listing suggests. The main issue was cleanliness and overall upkeep. No cleaning service was provided. The rugs appeared dusty to the point that I rolled them up because I did not feel comfortable walking on them. The bathroom fell below expectations, with visible dirt around the shower area. The toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet. The apartment was noisier than expected. Cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation system, which was surprising given that the property is marketed as non-smoking. The bedroom blind did not function properly and the air conditioning unit appears overdue for professional cleaning and servicing. The quality of the bedding and towels was disappointing. Some bed linen was visibly worn and even had holes. The pillows were old, with the filling clumped into lumps. The towels were thin, heavily used. I was surprised to be instructed to take out the rubbish before checkout. When I asked whether there was any online checkout procedure, the response was simply: "You just need to take the garbage out." This is the first time I have encountered such a requirement in a professionally managed property. Finally, communication was disappointing. I requested just 1 or 2additional hours for a later checkout, which was refused. While the agency is fully entitled to apply its policies, the handling of the request was not particularly customer-oriented. Overall, these issues are individually quite easy to fix. However, taken together, they had a significant impact on the quality of my stay. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose this agency again.
