We used a car since we brought along all our beach gear.
The apartment is equipped with the necessary kitchenware for cooking, air conditioners for comfort, and a large parking area.
Supermarkets are very close, but it's still more convenient to drive there. It's also easier to reach the center of Hanioti by car, as it's probably about 2 kilometers away on foot.
We explored many beaches both on Kassandra and Sithonia, and honestly, the beach near the villa is quite decent. Importantly, it’s not crowded, which makes it comfortable during the high season.
I have a few non-critical suggestions that would be great to address:
1. The absence of a microwave. For full convenience and quick meal preparation, especially when vacationing with children, I believe it's essential. Moreover, it's a very small investment.
2. There are no garbage bins on the property. We had to put the trash in the car and take it somewhere outside the villa, which, to put it mildly, is not very convenient.

Great locatiom, good facilities but I wish some of the things would have been better
The area is very nice and close to the beach and the nearby cities by car. It was also quiet and had good facilities overall.
So there are a few houses wall in wall to each other so it might be that our experience is simply tied to the specific house, but to us there were a few things that were just not acceptable. Firstly, the water at the property was salty and had a bad taste and I mean the water from every facet (bathroom sink, kitchen - even the filtered one, shower etc). So if you want to wash your mouth or your face by extension you can’t really as you can feel the salt and bad taste. Second, the matresses were very very hard, so not really comfortable overall. Third, there were ants in the kitchen under the sink (if it would have been just a few I wouldn’t have mentioned it but there were many).
Another less relevant point for whoever is interested, there is no microwave, so if you want to heat up your food you need to use the oven (not a huge deal but would have been nice).
Lastly, Maria, who was the person that handed us the keys and was our host. She was very nice, welcoming and helpful so this following part might not be directed at her but rather RentalsPro who probably make these processes. I’ve used booking quite a bit and I find it a bit ridiculous that in 2025 I have to phisically meet someone BOTH during check in and check out to get/hand over the keys. This would not have been a problem if there were time slots that were established or predefined (example within X hours you can go to X place to get or hand over keys).
We had to exchange messages on WhatsApp to align on time for check in and on time for check out? I also didn’t understand why during check out we had to give an exact time we would leave and then the host would come at that exact time and wait for us to leave for them to check the house? Is there really no way you can have a lock box or office where you can leave the key up to a certain hour? What if we got delayed by 2 hours during check out? The host would have to wait for us for 2 hours or try to rush us to get out sooner.
