Fantastic stay! The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The bathrooms were spotless and clearly looked after regularly. The shared kitchens had everything you could possibly need, making it very easy to cook and feel at home.
The house itself felt very safe, quiet and well organised, which made the stay even more relaxing. Everything was exactly as described, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay.

The room I had was small which suited me as the room heated up quickly, everything was easily accessible and highly functional. The whole building was very clean - especially the kitchens and bathrooms which is always inportant. Apart from the first two hours of the first day , everything just worked easily, quickly and totally hassle free from the microwave to the washing machine, the heater-dryer (bathrooms) to the security door locks.
The location for me was another HUGE positive that for my work and needs was absolutely idea. Close to public transport buses (both buses that I needed) and metro train was very handy as proximity to supermarkets, shops, petrol station and other functional needs was excellent. In that vein the library just across the road (North Birkenhead) could not have been better located. For work, printing (which is essential to me) and the cafe this was great. The staff in the library are so helpful and friendly and welcoming. All is all there is a lot to commend about this room and I would recommend for a single person wanting a functional location - a no frills room for a few days
The biggest dislike was the lack of electricity either for lights or plug points on arrival for about 2 hours. Apparently due to fire-equipment testing (by someone who clearly had no clue what he was doing), the experience did not get off to a good start and I was on the verge of complaining anf requesting a refund before the power actually returned. A similar possibly related marginally annoying experience was that the room light would randomly flicker for about 4 minutes before returning to normal once in a day. This occured for about six of the 12 days that I was there. The size of room was also a down side. The rooms are small and getting around the medium size bed is not easy. The desk is small and the area to move in within the room is tiny. The lack of restock toilet roll and regular cleaner nowhere to be seen till the last day was definitely noticeable !

Clean comfortable room
Too many people with problems staying there. It was like a hostel for people with problems not a hostel for holiday people. Not what you would expect!
