    I had an extremely horrible and frustrating experience booking through *** for Vinayak Grand, Varanasi. I had already booked and prepaid the full amount. However, when I reached the hotel with my family, the hotel staff bluntly denied having any confirmed booking under my name. I immediately called the contact number provided at the hotel and, after discussion, it was revealed that the hotel had never confirmed the booking—it was Goroomgo who had confirmed it on their own without the hotel’s approval. To make matters worse, the hotel then demanded an additional ₹1000, stating that the actual tariff was *** per night while I had only paid *** through ***. Left with no option and not wanting to spoil the day for my family, I was forced to pay the extra amount. I also requested a refund so I could book directly with the hotel, but that was outright denied. This entire situation was extremely stressful, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. Had I known that *** was merely a third-party agent and not directly affiliated with the hotel—and that they confirm bookings without hotel approval—I would have never booked through them. I strongly request Agoda to de-list *** hotels from their database to prevent other customers from facing such harassment and inconvenience. If any proof is required, I am fully prepared to share all supporting documents, including payment receipts and booking details. This was a terrible and unacceptable experience, and I strongly advise others not to book through ***. I will definitely never use their service again.

    Agoda gave Hotel but it was not booked at all. Useless services provided by Agoda booking. U had to call them around 15 times and then had to move in other location. Horrible after travelling 12 hours journey then you get so horrible services by Agoda as well hotel reception. I will never recommend to use this App for anyone. Why it was not coordinated when it was booked 4 hours in advance. Agoda services are useless and not appreciated.
