We recently stayed at Villa Nuggaliyada. We booked the stay seeing the excellent reviews and the pictures and all of those proved to be exactly the way it is and more !!! It was the most beautiful stay ever. You will be taken away by the beauty of nature and the breathtaking views from the Villa. The caretaker Mr.Janaka was really helpful, was very responsive to all messages. Breakfast was excellent Srilanka food ( home made) , good quantity. There are other options for food as well. Literally can spend whole day just looking at beauty of nature. The villa is built in a nature friendly way preserving all the trees and rocks which makes it all the more beautiful. This is surely a must stay place . Villa Nuggaliyada will not disappoint you!

First of all, this is the best view I have ever seen from inside a room. We spent so much time just gazing into the distance it was truly mesmerizing.
If you're planning to relax and spend quality time with your loved one, this is the perfect place. If you love breathtaking scenery and nature, look no further. The calming bird sounds, the cool breeze, and the stunning view blend together beautifully. You could easily spend the whole day just relaxing on the balcony.
We stayed in Room 03, which is ideal for couples. It had a queen-size bed with comfy pillows and clean bedsheets, a desk with a Smart TV, a heater, a stand fan, and coffee. The room also had an open shower with hot water and a spotless toilet.
The service was just as wonderful. The owner, Mr. Janaka, welcomed us with a drink and gave us a room tour along with the WiFi password. He was very kind, and after showing us around, he left to give us privacy, letting us know to contact him anytime if we needed anything.
As for food, we ordered the Pot Biryani for dinner because it looked amazing in the menu and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It was both delicious and beautifully presented. The portion size was more than enough. Although he offered us dessert, we kindly declined as we were already full.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. We had no complaints everything was perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment and would recommend this place to both locals and foreigners without hesitation.
