The location is incredibly convenient with easy transport options. The facilities are well maintained, including clean bathrooms and useful amenities that contribute to a comfortable sleep experience. Cleanliness is impressive.

Very Poor behaviour of the staff. Inspite of early check in they refused. Not at all supportive.

​⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) I stayed at The Bentree Hotel, MP Nagar, Bhopal for two nights with my elderly mother (almost 80 years old). I chose this hotel based on the photographs and description on Agoda, but unfortunately the actual experience was quite different. 1. Misleading exterior photographs The first thing that disappointed me was that the hotel does not look like the professionally edited photographs shown online. The exterior image appears to have been heavily edited and presents a much cleaner and more premium appearance than the actual building. When I showed the reception staff the photograph, they acknowledged that it had been edited and said it was uploaded by the previous owner. Whether that is true or not, the responsibility lies with the current management to ensure that the photographs shown to prospective guests accurately represent the property.​ Guests should be booking based on the hotel as it exists today, not on digitally enhanced images. 2. Room condition was below expectations The room did not match the photographs shown during booking. Some of the issues included: Furniture looked old and worn out. No refrigerator, although one is shown in the room photographs. No electric kettle. No tea/coffee making facilities. Linen was below expected standards. It was not dirty, but the bed sheet​ had burn-hole marks. 3. Mattress quality This was probably the biggest disappointment. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. My elderly mother was unable to sleep properly for both nights and woke up almost every one or two hours because of the poor mattress. Naturally, this also disturbed my own sleep. A hotel can recover from many shortcomings, but providing guests with a comfortable night's sleep should be a basic priority. 4. Bathroom maintenance The bathroom also required attention. Flush was not functioning properly. The health faucet (jet spray) was defective. After we reported it, the staff replaced it promptly, which I appreciate. However, the replacement had extremely high water pressure and was practically unusable. The shower was also in poor condition, spraying water from multiple directions instead of functioning normally. These are maintenance issues that should ideally be identified before guests check in. 5. Breakfast Breakfast was acceptable but extremely basic. During our stay it consisted mainly of: Poha Idli-Sambar Aloo Paratha with curd One day Aloo Puri There were no eggs, omelettes, toast station, cereals, fruit selection, or other items commonly associated with hotels charging breakfast at around ₹250 per person. It was sufficient, but certainly not what I expected based on the hotel's positioning. 6. Staff I would like to make one thing clear. The staff members themselves were polite, courteous and tried to help whenever we raised issues. My criticism is not directed at them. The problem appears to be with the hotel's maintenance standards, management oversight and quality control. Overall The biggest issue is the mismatch between expectations created by the online listing and the reality of the property. Hotels should present honest photographs and accurate descriptions so that guests can make informed decisions. I hope the management updates the listing with current photographs, improves room maintenance, replaces worn mattresses and ensures that the facilities advertised online are actually available. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to travellers looking for the standard suggested by its online presentation.
