Echarm Plus Hotel Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street

I booked 3 rooms and wanted to check in at 3 PM, but they said only 1 room was available if we wanted to be on the same floor. If we wanted to be on the same floor, we would need to wait until 5 PM. When we went to the first room to put all suitcase, the smell was very bad. Even the cleaning ladies said it smelled bad. Also, the smart toilet was broken, so we had to wait another hour to get a different room. The Wi-Fi also requires a local number. If you're using an eSIM, you need the staff to help you with the OTP. After we got our 3 rooms, 2 rooms were okay and clean, but the other 1 room still had a broken toilet. The staff said they couldn't fix it and also couldn't move us to another room that night because the hotel was full. The staff worked hard to check the smart toilet and the other room too, but it was no use—I still had to wait until tomorrow. Also, they said they never mentioned having a smart toilet feature on the OTA. ( so it's like, hey i have this facilities, but you can't use it ) the next day i get new room, the bidet is working but the room is smelly.... pros: - location is good - amenities is good - the staff is trying their best - bidet ( if you lucky ) cons: - soundproofing basically non existent, i sleep with water pipe sound effect - some room really smelly
