A really comfortable stay! I did self check in so I didn’t meet any staff but everything is clear in both English and Japanese in terms of how to manage your stay. The local area near the university has a calm yet inviting atmosphere and the coworking space on the 4F is excellent. I’ve stayed here twice so far and would definitely come back if I visit Akita again

The place is great. You check in via QR code in order to receive code for the room. The individual bed are comfy. Laundry in the same room. Upstairs on the 4th is a shared common space (individual business). I highly recommend this place. More bang for the buck.

It's about a 25 min walk from Akita Station, but there are sidewalks and crosswalks the whole way, so I found it a comfortable walk. There is a digital self check-in by the stairs, then you get the code for the door. Each bed has a small shelf and some hangers, as well as its own curtain. There's only one shower and one toilet, but I never had to wait. There's paid laundry with free detergent, with a fridge and filtered water. You also get a coupon for a drink at the coffee shop downstairs, but they were closed both mornings I was there.
