I have this pet peeve about insects that is why I have to especially mentioned that I DID NOT encounter any during my stay and the place is spotless, there's this lingering scents in every corner and it smells DIVINE. It's not overpowering but very calming instead. Hot water is steady and toilet is spacious. I did my remote work in my room and the wifi kept up. Tv is huge, staff are very friendly and made me felt comfortable. Cafe food are lovely although limited selection, complimentary foot soak was great too, I am definitely planning my next stay here.

I recently completed a 4-night stay at Shalom House in Donggongon, and overall, my experience was satisfactory. The property truly lives up to the title of a "hidden gem," offering a highly comfortable and pleasant environment that made the majority of my stay quite enjoyable.
However, there was one specific area that fell short of expectations: the housekeeping service. While the accommodation itself is lovely, the daily housekeeping was not up to par with industry standards. Unfortunately, this lack of attention to detail in room maintenance slightly discounted my overall satisfaction during the trip.
Pros:
A genuine hidden gem in the Donggongon area.
Comfortable and pleasant facilities suitable for a multi-night stay.
Good overall value for the price.
Cons:
Housekeeping services require significant improvement to match the quality of the property.
Conclusion:
Despite the drawback regarding cleanliness and room upkeep, I still consider Shalom House a worthwhile place to stay. With some management attention directed toward improving their housekeeping operations, this property could easily offer a flawless guest experience.

The place is excellent! Staffs are also helpful in assisting. Moreover, each stay gives you complementary foot soak! I also tried the in-house guest service for facial & hair which was great! Recommended!
