    Great little spot for solo or couples to stay close to the beach. I stayed here in January for a few days to surf and relax. The room I booked was quite pleasant, a nice clean comfortable room with balcony. It's a very quiet location set back off the main road with easy access to local transport, food, scooter and surfboard rentals. The manager was a really nice guy, easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions I had about the local area and my accommodation.

    Our stay in Donghe was decent. The room was clean, which we appreciated, but there were no slippers provided. The neighborhood was a bit noisy at times, so it might not be the best choice for light sleepers. There wasn’t always a receptionist available, but the owner was very responsive through Agoda messages, which was helpful. Overall, it’s a simple, no-frills stay with good service from the owner, but some minor inconveniences.
