    Very comprehensive free breakfast, love the breakfast options, excellent customer service, staff will go all the way out to help you, location is very near exit but first time visitor should be mindful that the exit is F1 and not F. Will consider staying here again if visiting Guangzhou in future.

    The hotel is a very welcoming place to be. The reception staff are excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice atmosphere in the breakfast area with a choice of western and Asian dishes. I would recommend this hotel.

    Convenience: This hotel is excellently located on the metro line. It is about 1.5 hours on the metro to Baiyun Airport, and excellently located on 2 major metro lines, making it easy to visit most locations without having to change trains. One line takes you to the top of Beijing Lu, and the other to the bottom, making it easy to get where you want to go. It's also easy to go to Foshan, although Guangzhou Museum area is much more annoying to reach. Tip: use exit F1 at Huangsha station, which will take you right outside the hotel. If you prefer to get around on foot, it's a bit more annoying. Yongqingfang and Shamian Island are easily reached, but it's too far from anything else. If you like staying out late, you'll not find too much to do within walking distance after 9-10 pm, unlike around Beijing Lu. Didi works well, but coming from London, we weren't used to taking taxis everywhere so we mainly just walked/metroed. Amenities: Very basic. They have a single washing machine and dryer on each floor, but people seem to select really long wash and dry cycles, and it was never available most of the time we were there. The gym is basically just two treadmills behind the reception, which was awkward to use. Free snacks until 12am was neat, although we never made use of these as we ate too much on our own. They have a parcel rack for Taobao orders, and you have to dig through the parcels to find yours. Breakfast was actually pretty decent, with good choices and salad! (it's hard to find raw veg in china..) Cleanliness and room facilities: Aircon was good and cold. Room was clean enough, and cleaners came every day, which was really nice. Water bottles are provided each day. However, the fridge was not cold at all, and although the toilets have bidet function and a remote control, we were told this doesn't actually work. Only the flush function works. Walls were thin and we could hear people's alarm clocks, showering and toilet flushing sounds. Service: This was the worst part of the hotel tbh. The service was terrible, the hotel staff were never helpful except for the male receptionist who was friendly. The few female receptionists were always very curt and quite rude when we asked questions - even though we spoke mandarin. We were always anxious when asking questions, and saw other people also getting pretty rude service. Overall: I could stay here again as it is good value for money, although I would probably choose somewhere near Beijing Lu instead if the price difference is not too much as we prefer to be able to walk everywhere.
