The host met us on arrival and showed us the house. The rooms downstairs were spacious, clean and agreeable with windows that open up to verandas. The location is very nice.
The barking dogs - every single house around has a dog. The next-door neighbour has 2 dogs. This was a bit of a nightmare. Early barking at 6 am and night barking until late. Bring earplugs. The frying pan was old, and we had to buy a new one to make eggs. We were asked to pay the commission the host pays to have the house advertised on Booking. This never happened to me before.
