I loved this place! Me and my friend stayed for a couple of nights after deciding to treat ourselves and escape the hostel life for little bit. The place is so cute. Relaxed energy, great little terrace with hammocks for chilling, SUPER clean, equipped with a fan and a kitchen that has everything. Loved it.

We were only in Bocas Town for 1 night before we stayed out in the islands. This place has everything you need, including a communal kitchen/common room and a cute cat named Antonio. My only comments are that the beds are full/double size and felt small for the 2 of us. Next time we'd book a room there with 2 single beds. And I wished there was a microwave and and a fan in the kitchen (it was HOT!) The airport is a quick .2 km walk! The small planes go over head every few hours but not at night so it wasn't a problem. It was actually cool watching them come in from the balcony. It was otherwise quiet which was fortunate as our friends just a few blocks closer to town were subjected to throbbing music late into the night. Check out is 11am sharp! Which can be adjusted upon request but it took us by surprise because everyplace else we've stayed in colombia & Panama it has been 1pm. The owners are from Holland or Denmark i think and live locally and were responsive.

I stayed at Casa Pelicano for six nights. The rooms are comfortable, and just as described. Everything is very clean and in great condition. The kitchen is much appreciated, allowing for some cooking. There's a refrigerator and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. The service is great. Hosts are very responsive, offer good advice, and work to assure a pleasant stay. The location is within walking distance to many great restaurants, stores, and other essential services.I highly recommend Casa Pelicano and look forward to my next visit.
