Belém Cozy Apartments by Soulplaces

The apartment was located very conveniently in Belem - very close to where we needed to be for Nos Alive festival, but also really well connected by bus/tram/train for other areas. The bathroom was lovely, well stocked kitchen and the bed was very comfy.

While we had a fan, it was quite difficult to keep the apartment cool even with windows closed, and often it felt quite hot. Also, the door wasn’t very soundproofed so could sometimes hear people coming up the stairs or talking to each other in the corridor - you need earplugs but generally that does the trick. While there was a small outdoor area, it was often very hot as it was an internal courtyard that other apartments’ air con units backed onto.

Appartement très mignon et confortable. Emplacement idéal avec les trams et bus devant pour aller vers le centre, restaurants juste en bas.

Toutefois, bruyant la nuit à cause de ces mêmes bus et trams.

Location! Location! Location! Team 15E right out the front - takes you directly into plaza de comerciale in about 25 min. All the hop on and off buses stop across the road. Jeronimo’s monastery, Discovery statue are a 7 minute walk. Good restaurants around. You must try Patissiere Belem for their traditional sweets. Great service from the owners.

We had the second floor apartment - 1 bedroom. The stairs were horrendous - small and steep. Noisy neighbours in next door’s apartment. The apartment is on the top floor and the roof line makes it very hard to get in and out of the bed due to the slanted walls. It is also very small - photos make it look much bigger than it is.
