De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het appartement was schoon en voorzien van de nodige basisvoorzieningen.
Het appartement ligt direct boven de souk van Fnideq, iets wat niet duidelijk vermeld wordt in de omschrijving op Booking.com. Hierdoor was er zowel overdag als 's avonds en zelfs 's nachts veel geluidsoverlast. Parkeren is niet mogelijk voor de deur of in de directe omgeving. De privacy is zeer beperkt: alle ramen kijken recht uit op die van de overburen, op zeer korte afstand. Door de hitte moeten de ramen open blijven, waardoor de buren ongegeneerd naar binnen kunnen kijken.
